These cards can be used for coloring, games, spelling and more! Simply print out the templates (card stock works best) and cut along the dotted lines.
Example games/activities are:
- Matching — Print & cut out two sets of cards, then place them all face down and mix them up. Can you find a matching pair?
- Spelling — This can be used to teach spelling or to play a game. Say a word and the child(ren) can try to spell it. This can work with single letters too.
- Ordering — How quickly can the child(ren) arrange the cards into alphabetical order?
- Karuta — Using one set of cards, place the cards in random order face up on a table. When the caller says a letter the fastest person to slap/snatch up that letter gets to keep the card. At the end of the game the person with the most cards wins! Best played with at least 2 people.
