Activity Idea - Hand Print Turkey

Make a Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey with hand prints.

Instructions:

You will need

• The template for your turkey
• Scissors
• Paint (different colours)
• A4 card
• A4 paper
• Glue

Method:

1. Paint the children's hands and make a print on paper of both left and right hands.
2. Let the prints dry and then cut out each print.
3. Print and cut out the body of the turkey (paint or colour if you wish).
4. Place the hand prints around the body of the turkey as shown in the pictures. Hint: Use left hands for left-hand side and right hands for right-hand side.
5. Glue the hand prints together, and glue the body of the turkey to them so the hand prints make the feathers. Lay out flat to dry.
